Legal Requirements

Certain employers are required by law to have Drug-Free Workplace programs. These include organizations with Federal grants and contracts in excess of $100,000 and employers in the transportation industry. Employers are well advised to consult an attorney who specializes in labor and employment law in the state(s) in which worksites are located to make sure that they are meeting their local and state requirements.
